Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a booklet turning system which can introduce the bound section as a leading end of the booklet, turn a book cover, and accurately turn a desired page; and can detect the generation of abnormality in the turning motion.
SOLUTION: This booklet turning system is equipped with a cylindrical roller 51. A coefficient of friction to the booklet 1 is set to be large for the cylindrical roller 51. The cylindrical roller 51 can transmit a driving force through a torque limiter 36. Then, a rotary encoder 44, which detects whether the cylindrical roller 51 has rotated by a specified rotation number within a specified period of time or not, is provided.
