To solve the following inconveniences of the conventional bookmark: a conventional bookmark is mainly the type inserted between book pages and therefore shows only up to what page a book is read; a tag with an adhesive surface can be used to indicate up to what characters of what page of the book is read, however, unless the tag is stuck out of the closed book, the page marked with the tag cannot easily be found and further the tag becomes refuse if the adhesion gets weak; and the conventional bookmark can only carries a fixed information.
The bookmark has, on a plate 1, either a lobation 2 or a plurality of holes 5, and an adhesive tape is either inserted into the lobation or covers a part of the holes, or an adhesive tape 3 is pasted to cover the whole surface of the plate and the adhesive surface is exposed to the opposite surface of the plate and is made possible to repetitively paste onto the paper surface. Further, the bookmark can show up to which lines of the page the book is read by the mark set out on the plate. Using a transparent package instead of a plate, the information on a piece of paper included in the package can be displayed.
