PURPOSE: To provide a bookrack which can be minimized in bulk at non-use so as to be compact and easy to carry in a bag, and has no large unevenness on the outer form.

CONSTITUTION: This bookrack is formed of a box base 1 opened /upward, a support base 3 pivotally fixed to one side of the base 1 and supported in such a manner as to be rockable between a closing position for closing the base 1 inner part and a standing position for standing at a prescribed angle to the base 1, and a receiving base 4 provided on the other side of the base 1 in such a manner as to be capable of being housed in the inner part of the base 1 and pulled out from the housing position to receive a book lower end side in this pulled position.
