Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2008119175
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a bookshelf which has stability for preventing human-suffering/material-caused damages such that books or the like are hard to drop from a shelf plate even by an unexpected external force such as an earthquake, and at the same time, has a good visibility for books or the like in the vertical direction of the shelf plate which enables a bookshelf user to easily search a book.

This bookshelf 1 includes a plurality of the shelf plates 10 in the vertical direction. In this case, the shelf plate 10 has a mounting surface 10a which tilts downward from the front side to the back side in the depth direction. In the bookshelf 1, the mounting surfaces 10a of all the shelf plates 10 which are arranged in the vertical direction are tilted at a tilting angle within a range of approximately 2 to 6 to the horizontal direction, and thus, the visibility of the book or the like which is mounted on the mounting surface 10a is high in the vertical direction of the shelf plate 10. The bookshelf has stability as the book or the like is hard to drop from the shelf plate 10 even by the unexpected external force such as earthquake, and the human-caused/material-caused damages by the unexpected external force such as earthquake can be prevented.
