Abstract:

To provide a bookstand which can be placed even in a place with no attaching part around a user lying down to enable the user to read a book.

A table 2 is attached on one side of a plate 1 comprising a rubber sheet. A book bed 3 is attached on the table 2 by a pair of wing screws 4a, 4b. The book bed 3 comprises a metal plate 6 with a book standing part 6a and an attaching plate 8 with a pair of pins 7 projected from both sides. Holes to which the wing screws 4a, 4b are engaged and an arc shape hole centering on the hole 4a are formed on the table 2. Thus, the book bed 3 can be rotated within an arc centering on the wing screw 4a as a support point. The attaching plate 8 has a long hole to adjust the distance between the pins 7 within the range of the long hole and the book standing part 6 can be adjusted correspondingly to the thickness of a book.
