Abstract:

This invention provides a cover device of a hydraulic cylinder capable of securing large contact strength against a contact object, reducing the number of parts, having a simple structure, and easy in painting work. A cover member 13 is fixed with a bolt 14 to the tip 8b1 of a rod 8b of a boom cylinder 8, and composed of one plate material made of, for example, steel. This cover member 13 has a first projection 13c formed between a central part 13a fixed to the tip 8b1 of the rod 8b and one side end 13b and formed by bending, and a second projection 13e formed between the central part 13a andthe other side end 13d and formed by bending. A guide plate is fixed to a cylinder 8a for slidably holding the cover member 13 to the cylinder 8a of the boom cylinder 8.
