To make the device to be small-sized and compact utilizing an automatic water feed pump device for a water receiving tank used up to now by providing a header connected to the suction side of pumps and connected to a water line pipe, and a check valve between the header and a discharge confluent pipe.
Respective booster pumps 42, 42 are respectively provided with gate valves 12, 12 and 15, 15 on the suction side and the discharge side. When the pumps 42, 42 are exchanged, the pumps 42, 42 are intercepted from pipe lines by these gate valves, and the pumps only can be detached. A header 11 is a straight pipe, and hence a suction pipe 5 can be connected to the other end side. The suction pipe 5 is not only connected along the axial direction of the header 11, but can be connected in the directions of bending front and rear, up and down against the header 11, or arranged to be bent so as to be in parallel with the header 11. The connecting condition of the suction pipe 5 can be optionally selected according to the condition of the installation site.
