A reduction gear mechanism 2 composed of a plurality of gears and a clutch mechanism 3 are disposed between a rotating shaft 11 of the electric motor 1 and a linear motion body 53 which linearly moves by converting the rotation of the electric motor 1 by a ball screw mechanism. The clutch mechanism 3 is configured to automatically switch from a high-speed clutch plate 31 to a low-speed clutch plate 32 when a tip screw 54 of the linear motion body 53 abuts on the workpiece W during linear movement.
