The boot 10 for constant velocity universal joint comprises a major diameter part 13 installed to an outer joint member 1 of the constant velocity universal joint, a minor diameter part 14 installed to a shaft 9 connected to an inner joint member 2 of the constant velocity universal joint, and a bellows part 15 disposed between the major diameter part 13 and the minor diameter part 14. The whole boot length in the installed state is made larger than the whole boot length in a free state.
