To provide a boot fastening band for a constant-velocity universal joint capable of stably fixing a boot at a correct position and excelling in seal performance between the boot and a part on which the boot is installed, to provide a caulking tool for installing the band, and to provide a boot for the constant-velocity universal joint fixed by the band and the caulking tool.
The fastening band 111 is formed of a ring body having no projection projecting in an outside diameter direction. The band 111 is fitted onto an attached portion of the boot 70 for the constant-velocity universal joint. A concave portion 113 for caulking formed in an inside diameter surface of the caulking tool 110 is suitable for the band 111 with an axial gap provided. The band 111 is reduced in diameter with caulking force applied by the caulking tool 110. A displacement prevention mechanism 115 is provided for regulating axial displacement by the application of the caulking force.
