Abstract:

PURPOSE: To facilitate the attaching/detaching of boots when snow boards are used by a method wherein the lateral rotating force to the snow board being applied to the boots is received by a contact surface or contact line between the L-shaped side plate and side plate, and the longitudinal and vertical forces are received by protuberances and claws, etc., being incorporated with the L-shaped side plate in the same manner.
CONSTITUTION: A side plate 3 with a protuberance 2 is fixed on a side surface C of a boot holder B. When the boot holder B is made of a plastics, etc., the side plate 3 is made of a comparatively hard metal such as stainless steel, and is fixed with machine screws, etc. Then, a claw 5 and spring 13 which are engaged with the protuberance 2 are incorporated with an L-shaped side plate 4 where a groove D in which the protuberance 2 is placed is formed, and two of the L-shaped side plates 4 are attached to a boot holder receiving base plate 8 so as to be confronted. The side plate 3 and L-shaped side plate 4 come into contact with by a plane or line, and the protuberance 2 is placed in the groove D, and the claw 5 is engaged with the protuberance 2. The claw 5 is automatically opened when the boot holder B is fitted, the the protuberance 2 is pressed from the top.
