PURPOSE: To manufacture a boot having excellent appearance by placing a boot body having an adhesive layer formed on the required position of a shaft and the upper edge of a top line in a magnetic or electrical field, and then electrostatically implanting a fabric flock into the adhesive layer.
CONSTITUTION: A boot body 3 is constituted with vinyl chloride resin and integrally formed with a stitch seam pattern 2 via an injection molding process. A boot 1 is subjected to an electrostatic implanting process at a shaft 4 and a top line edge 5, except the vicinity of the sole of the boot body 3, and a fabric flock layer 6 is thereby formed. In this case, an adhesive agent is applied to the top line edge 5 and the shaft 4 for forming an adhesive layer, and then placed in an electrical or magnetic filed for electrostatically implanting a fabric flock into the adhesive layer. As the adhesive agent, for example, an urethane, acrylic, water soluble urethane and acrylic system adhesive agent or the like may be enumerated. The staples of synthetic fiber such as nylon and polyester, an artificial fiber such as rayon and a natural fiber such as cotton are used as the fabric flock.
