Abstract:

To provide a string fastener of a boot type shoe capable of fitting the vamp of the shoe to user's toe and instep.

A fastener 1 using a string 18 is included in the lower part 14 surrounding a foot. The string member 18' of the string is fitted to adjust the foot alternately crosses through changing means 20 of direction provided at both sides 21, 22 of the edge of the shoe body 10. The string member 18'of the string 18 is directed so as to converge from the instep section 13 to the upper part 23' of a small tongue member 23 provided with a double tunnel for guidance through two semi-flexible sheath members 27. The fastener 1 for the shoe can be controlled so as to keep a bending fold part 26 free and tighten it from the edge 30 of the upper part 16 of the shoe body 10.
