Abstract:
To provide a constant velocity joint boot for allowing appropriate and efficient clamping work for a boot band.SOLUTION: The cylindrical constant velocity joint boot fastened and fixed, by a boot band 43, to the outer peripheral face of a shaft fixed at its first end 41a to an outside joint member 10 and connected at its second end 41b to an inside joint member 20, includes a ventilation part 45 formed in the inner peripheral face of the second end 41b to perform air distribution between an internal space S of the constant velocity joint boot and the outside, and a sign part 47 as a marker site for indicating the peripheral position of the ventilation part 45 to allow the peripheral position of the ventilation part 45 to be visually recognized and grasped from the outer peripheral face of the second end 41b.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
