Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a boot which eliminates need of checking, such as visual inspection, of an attachment state of the boot during assembly of a joint and achieves excellent sealability.SOLUTION: A boot 1 is disposed between a first member 10 and a second member 20 and seals a connection portion B between the first member and the second member. The boot 1 includes an elastic cylindrical part 1c which is continuously and integrally formed with an area between a fixed part 11 fixed to one of the first member and the second member and a contact pressure part 12 which is pressed by the other of the first member and the second member to contact therewith. The contact pressure part includes: at least a first seal lip 12b which prevents foreign objects from entering from the exterior; and a second seal lip 12a which prevents oil leakage from the interior.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
