Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bore deformation amount-measuring device capable of measuring the deformation amount of a cylinder bore during the actual driving of an internal combustion engine.SOLUTION: A bore deformation amount-measuring device for measuring a deformation amount of a cylinder bore formed on a cylinder block 81 of an internal combustion engine, is arranged with a light source 2 for emitting light having directivity, and a light-receiving portion 3 for receiving light emitted from the light source 2 and regularly reflected at a measurement point P on a cylinder wall surface W, on the cylinder wall surface W. A computing mechanism 4 is equipped, which obtains a deviation between a light-receiving position detected by a light-receiving surface 30 of the light-receiving portion 3 and a light-receiving reference position of regular reflecting light.
