Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize a device.SOLUTION: A bore formation device 28 includes a carrying-in roller 26 for transporting a recording sheet S, a boring unit 288 which contains a boring blade 283 for forming bore on the recording sheet S, a carrying-in detection sensor 284 which is positioned further upstream than the boring blade 283 in the transportation direction of the recording sheet S, for detecting a first end part of the recording sheet S on a lower stream side in the transportation direction of the recording sheet S, and an end part detection sensor 285 for detecting a second end part of the recording sheet S along intersection direction crossing the transportation direction of the recording sheet S, a boring unit drive motor which moves the boring unit 288 in the intersection direction, and a control part 50 which, when the carrying-in detection sensor 284 detects the first end part, moves the boring unit 288 and controls the carrying-in roller 26 and the boring unit drive motor so that the end part detection sensor 285 detects the second end part on a line running a through hole along the intersection direction.
