Abstract:
PURPOSE:To constitute the title device so that cooling water overflows over neither a wall surface not a floor surface by evaporating easily the water through heating of a blade part, by providing an air-water mixing device which is interposed between a bit and air pressure source and mixing mistlike water with air circulating into an air conduit. CONSTITUTION:The title device possesses a a diamond core bit 2 comprised of a hollow body, and blade part 1 provided on the tip in a state of dispersion, whose rear end part is connected with a rotary driving source. An end of an air conduit 4 is communicated with an air pressure source 3 and the other end is communicated with a hollow part of the diamond core bit 2. An air-water mixing device 5 is interposed between the diamond core bit 2 and air pressure source 3 and mistlike water is mixed with air circulation into the air conduit 4. The mistlike water is mixed with the air with the air-water mixing device 5 and the air is fed into the hollow part of the diamond core bit 2. Then the air is led to the blade part 1, evaporated through heating at the time of boring and cools a blade part 1 through the heat of evaporation. Steam after cooling is discharged into a dust collector or the open air and there is no fear of wetting a wall surface or a floor surface.
