Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a boring method of a boring machine for a jacking method or shield method, capable of suppressing damage of a cutting bit of a cutter head.SOLUTION: A boring machine for a jacking method or shield method comprises: a cutter head 4 which has cutting bits 21 on its front part and of which revolving shaft is borne by a barrier 5; body propulsion jacks 37 which propels a boring machine body along with the cutter head 4 in the boring direction; a driving machine 13 which drives the cutter head 4 rotationally; and an expansion device which has expansion jacks 7 propelling the cutter head in the boring direction and capable of changing the boring speed. The cutter head 4 is propelled in the boring direction by the body propulsion jacks 37 during a usual time. During a non-usual time when obstacles are cut, the propulsion in the boring direction by body propulsion jacks 37 is stopped, the cutter head 4 is propelled at ultra-low speed in the boring direction by the expansion device, and the obstacles are cut finely.
