To provide a boring machine for a printed board and a method for deciding boring conditions of a printed board using it, by which abnormality such as breakage of a drill can be quickly detected and boring conditions can be accurately decided on the basis of temperature data.
An infrared sensor 50, which measures a temperature of a blade face of the drill 45, is provided to the surface of the printed board or a pressing part 46 for pressing the surface of a backing plate arranged to the surface of the printed board. By this configuration, the temperature of the drill 45 can be directly measured by the infrared sensor 50. Therefore, the temperature of the drill can be accurately measured. Quick detection of the abnormality of the drill and accurate decision of the boring conditions can be executed by using the measured temperature.
