Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a boring tool which is connected with a spindle of a machine tool through a floating mechanism and performs boring and honing.SOLUTION: A boring tool 100 of the invention includes: a head 110 which is connected with a spindle 210 of a machine tool 200 through a floating mechanism 140 and rotates around a rotation axis AX1 in association with rotation of the spindle 210; multiple grind stones 120a to 120d disposed on a concentric circle formed around the rotation axis AX1 in the head 110; and multiple guide pads 130a to 130d which are disposed on a concentric circle at positions of the head 110 which are located between the multiple grind stones 120a to 120d. In the boring tool 100, cutting blades 131a to 131d are respectively provided at tips of the guide pads 130a to 130d when viewed in a process direction.
