Abstract:
To provide a boron-containing carbon material excellent in conductivity, and to provide an excellent conductive material containing the boron-containing carbon material.SOLUTION: A boron-containing carbon material is doped so that boron elements replace at least some of carbon elements in a carbon skeleton, and when the Raman shift of a G band is X and the Raman shift of a D band is Y in a laser Raman spectrum, the difference [X-Y] of the Raman shifts is 226 cm-1 or less, and the ratio of surface substitution type boron elements to all elements on a surface of the boron-containing carbon material, as measured by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), is 0.0001 or more.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
