Abstract:

PURPOSE: To make it possible to easily wash bottles of various dimensions by constituting a washing device in such a manner that the bottles are accepted in an inverted state into a multiplicity of cylindrical cup means mounted onto a loop conveyor and that plural injection nozzles are inserted into the bottles from below and a washing liquid is injected during the course of transportation.
CONSTITUTION: The bottles transported by a conveyor 35 are transferred upward by a spacing and lifting conveyor 41 and are inverted in the position in the proximity to the loop conveyor 47. Next, the bottles are handed over in the inverted state to a multiplicity of the cylindrical cup means 85 mounted at an equal pitch onto the loop conveyor 47 and are transported rightward. In (the process of the transportation, the bottoms and outer sides of the bottles are washed by the washing fluid spouted from an upper traversing washing device. 53. The plural injection nozzles 63 of a lower traversing washing device 61 are inserted into the bottles by an adjusting mechanism including cans and the inside of the bottles is washed by the washing liquid injected from the respective injection nozzles 63. The bottles after the washing are taken out of the cup means 85 on the other end side of the conveyor 47 and are transferred in an erecting state to the ensuing stages.
