PURPOSE: To cast plural steel ingots having different sizes on the same stool by further simpler method in a bottom pouring ingot-making method of the steel ingots.
CONSTITUTION: In the bottom pouring ingot-making method constituted of molds 1, 1', feeder heads 2, 2', stool 3, double stools 4, 4', pouring hole 5 and runner 6, the thicknesses (h), (h') of the double stools 4, 4' are selected so as to become H+h=H'+h'. Further, the heights of the rising-up parts in the double stools 4, 4' are made to the same size, and by changing the depth of a pouring basin part, the thicknesses of the double stools 4, 4' are made to different. Therefore, plural steel ingots having different sizes can be produced on the same stool. Further, the rising-up brick having the same size can be used.
