Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a bottom valve for a tank lorry, which has a small diameter piston so as to reduce the working cost for its slide contact part with respect to a cylinder, which can facilitate the replacement of parts and the maintenance thereof by accessing the valve only through a tank space, and which is safe since no spring rushes out from the valve even though a cap is removed from the valve.
CONSTITUTION: A bottom valve 20 comprises a cap 19, an upper part 27, a lower part, an inflow port 30, a valve hole, an upper valve seat 31, a lower valve seat 31, a body secured to the bottom part of a tank chamber 10, and etc. The upper valve seat 31 is slidably located in the upper part 27, and a valve body 22 can make contact with the lower valve seat so as to open and close the inflow port 30. Further, the bottom valve includes a cylinder 23 connected to the inside thereof, an air pipe 24 planted so as to be projected into the inside thereof, a piston 25 slidably incorporated in the cylinder 23 and having its upper part defining therein an air chamber 53, a spring 26 interposed between the cap 29 and the connected part, and a spring retainer A.
