Abstract:
To realize an ultrasonic vibrator casing integrally formed by cutting or pressing, which has a flat top face and is free from stress corrosion cracking, thereby improving the long-term reliability, and realize accurate, reliable ultrasonic vibrator and ultrasonic flow meter.
A casing integrally formed by cutting or pressing is heat-treated at a heat-treatment temperature of 150 to 300°C within 60 minutes. At this time, the heating-up speed is set to 5°C/min., and the cooling speed, to 1.0°C/min. or lower. The ultrasonic vibrator casing is realized, free from stress corrosion cracking at a flatness of the casing top face of 5 μm or lower.
