PURPOSE: To enable fishing for a fisherman seating upon it as well as to reinforce a bow by a method wherein a strip of expanded part is formed lengthwise on a bow deck of an FRP fishing boat.

CONSTITUTION: On a bow deck formed in a bow of a fiber reinforced plastic (FRP) small fishing boat, an expanded part 9 is formed at the front end in the direction of a boat width and further, a strip of projecting expanded part 5 is installed along the direction of a boat length. The upper surface 50 of the expanded part 5 is formed into a seat plane and a step part 51 is formed in the middle part. In order to prevent the seating surface 50 from having a large slope, this step part 51 is installed. In front of the expanded part 9, a fishing base 7 is temporarily installed. A fishermand can seat on the projecting expanded part 5 to angle and an effective utilization can be made on the bow deck 4 as well as to reinforce a bow.
