Abstract:
To make it possible to detach a seal liner from a propeller shaft in a state with the propeller shaft left as it is in a bow side sealing structure of a stern tube provided on a vessel.SOLUTION: A bow side seal structure 10 of a stern tube 5 provided on a vessel and causing a propeller shaft 1 to go through from an engine room in a hull to the outside of the hull includes: a seal liner 11 attached on the outer periphery surface of the propeller shaft 1; a seal casing 25 coupled to the stern tube 5 and surrounding the seal liner 11; and a seal member 27 attached to the seal casing 25 and surrounding the seal liner 11 to seal a gap between the seal casing 25 and the seal liner 11. The seal liner 11 has a plurality of liner partition units coupled to be separable from each other in the peripheral direction around the propeller shaft 1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
