To provide a bowling game apparatus by which even children having an unstable ball throwing direction can make a strike and a spare and obtain a high score.
The bowling game apparatus has two guide members 10, 10 arranged in a longitudinal direction of a lane, two first holding members 15, 15 arranged in the outside of the approach 2 side end portion of the lane 3 and holding one end of the guide members 10, 10, two second holding members 20, 20 arranged side by side above the lane 3 between the first holding members 15, 15 and the group of pins 5 holding other ends of the guide members 10, 10 and whose the other end holding portions are arranged so as to be able to move between a guide position to an evacuation position spaced apart from the guide position, and a second holding member driving means moving the other end holding portion of the second holding members 20, 20 between the evacuation position and the guide position. The guide members 10, 10 inclinedly intersect the longitudinal direction of the lane 3 and are arranged so as to contact with the ball rolling on the lane 3 at the central position in the height direction of the ball, the ball contacting with the guide members 10, 10 is guided toward the vicinity of the center of the group of the pins 5 when the other ends of the second holding members 20, 20 are in the guide position.
