PURPOSE: To shorten the period of remodeling a bowling game facility and to reduce the cost of the remodeling, by using a memory card as a medium for exchanging data between lanes and a reception desk so as to eliminate the necessity of a transmission network as a rule.
CONSTITUTION: A bowler receives a memory card in which necessary data are written, from a reception desk during entrance, and is then inserts a console at a designated lane. Accordingly, he can start a bowling game, upon start of the bowing game, the bowler inserts an IC card 9 into a card insertion slot in the console 8. Before the bowler stands in front of the lane, an image of pins which is picked up by a pin pick-up camera 2, diagonally in front thereof, is displayed on a CRT monitor. When the bowler, stands on the lane, a bowler detecting sensor 6 detects the bowler, and an image from a blower pickup- camera 3 is displayed on the CRT monitor. When a ball sensor 7 detects a ball thrown by the bowler, the image of the CRT monitor is switched into an image from a pin pick-up camera 2, and accordingly, the image showing pin action can be displayed on the CRT monitor.
