Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent the slip of spectacles, by adding a hook which can move and stop to be hooked to the lower hollow area of the rear side of an ear to the edge part of the bow of the spectacles.

CONSTITUTION: The edge part 1 of a bow C of spectacles is made longer than an ordinary length and then bent inward slightly to hold a hook 2. This hook 2 is hooked to the hollow area on the lower surface B of the rear side of an ear. The upper side 10 of the circumference wall 9 of a base board 3 provided at the axis of the main body of the hook 2 is tilted over 2/5 entire length of the side 10. Thus the upper edge 10 is pressed by the pressure of a coil spring 6 that affects a U-shaped metal parts 7 provided to a base board 4. A finger tip is hooked to a catch 15 provided on the surface of the hook 2 to pull down sufficiently the main body of the hook 2. Thus the hook 2 is hooked to the hollow area on the surface B. In such a way, the slip of the spectacles can be prevented.
