Abstract:
To provide a box culvert structure adaptable to an installation place subject applied with a heavy load from above by using a general box culvert body.
This box culvert structure applied with to earth pressure from above is equipped with a box culvert body 1 which comprises a pile cap 13, a base 11, and side walls 12 and 12. An upper portion of the box culvert body 1 is provided with an upper box culvert body 2 lower than the box culvert body 1 in height. Since the earth pressure which is applied to the box culvert body 1 is reduced by the height of the culvert body 2, a general-purpose standard product can be used as the box culvert body 1 without the need for the use of the special box culvert body.
