To provide a box for dispersing a gas in which the throughput of the gas per unit time can be increased and the gas can be brought into satisfactory contact with a liquid without using an agitation means particularly; and to provide a device for blowing the gas and a gas-liquid contact apparatus using the device for blowing the gas.

The box for dispersing the gas is formed into a hollow ring-like shape having symmetry, a hollow space penetrated along an axis of symmetry in the central part, a porous structure in the upper part and a gas introduction port in the side part or the lower part. The box has suitably rotational symmetry, the axis of rotational symmetry and a doughnut-like shape, a rectangular shape the vertical cross section of which includes the axis of symmetry and has R at the corner parts, an oval shape or a circular shape. The upper part of the box consists of a deflective material or a flexible material at the least and has preferably the porous structure.
