PURPOSE: To prevent a package from protruding from a box or rolling sideways and box an appropriate number of respective packages in a box formed with an appropriate size by providing a package boxing means for boxing the appropriate number of packages when a box expanded in a sheet is made into a box shape.
CONSTITUTION: After an appropriate number of respective packages K which are carried by an arranging conveyer 2 are arranged on a package arranging table 27, a bag-like sheet with a spoon or the like wrapped is spread over an upper face of the package K. On the other hand, a box pull-out machine 7 is driven to fold an expanded corrugated fiberboard box for mounting on a box feed conveyer 6, and front and rear short sides formed on a right side of the corrugated fiberboard box are folded inward by a guide plate 72 and a fold plate to be carried to a boxing position. A package boxer 8 is driven to box the respective packages K arranged on the package arranging table 27 into the corrugated fiberboard box. Then a short side formed on a left side of the corrugated fiberboard box is folded inward by the guide 72 and the fold plate, and the box is carried to a sealing position.
