Abstract:

To provide a box-making device for performing the blank inspection when making a box.

The box-making device 1 comprises a paper feed unit 13 and a conveying unit 2 for conveying a blank 4 to be fed by the paper feed unit 13 to a box-making unit 3, and further comprises a blank inspection unit comprising an image pickup means 5 for picking up an image of one side or both sides of the blank 4 to be fed from the conveying unit 2, a comparison means 15 for comparing an inspected image picked up by the image pickup means 5 with a master image of the blank 4 to be inspected, and a defect detection means 16 for detecting a part having the value over the permissible value as a defective part if the comparison value by the comparison means 15 is over the preset permissible value.
