Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent foreign matters including child fingers from entering a cutting device for rolled recording paper of a recorder including a facsimile.
SOLUTION: In a case mainbody of a facsimile, a fixed cutter 37 and a longitudinal rotatable cutter 38 are provided in parallel to a paper discharge port for recording paper 14 and facing the longitudinal cutting edge of the fixed cutter 37, respectively. The rotatable cutter 38 is slantedly arranged so that a gap gradually increases from one longitudinal side of the fixed cutter 37 toward the other side, an a safety protector 35 for preventing the entry of foreign matters is provided at the side of the rotatable cutter 38 so as to narrow a gap to the cutting edge of the fixed cutter 37, forming the safety protector 35 in a sectionally protruded and curved shape.
