Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brace damper capable of being easily attached to an existing brace crossing at an arbitrary angle.SOLUTION: A brace damper includes a pair of damper members 39, 39 attached to an intersection point P so as to hold both braces 25, 25. On the surface of each damper member 39 on the side of the pair of braces 25, 25, a groove 47 into which the braces 25, 25 are fitted is formed. The pair of damper members 39, 39 are connected in a state where the brace 25 on a front side is fitted into the groove 47, and vibration energy of the pair of braces 25, 25 is absorbed.
