Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bracket attaching device for orthodontics easily performing bracket attaching work and allowing a bracket to easily approach the front teeth and the central parts of the tooth planes of back teeth inside the oral cavity in such a state that the height of tooth planes is kept constant.
SOLUTION: This bracket attaching device for orthodontics is constituted of a housing having an internal space, the bracket support means provided in the internal space of the housing so as to pierce the space longitudinally and inserted in the slot of a bracket on one side thereof to support the bracket and susceptible to rotary motion and before and behind slide motion, the tweezers positioned on both sides of the bracket means and grasping the tie-wings on both sides of the brackets at one end parts thereof, the cusp standard means mounted on the upper surface of the housing on one side thereof and acting as the standard surface of a tooth cusp part, the means piercing the housing vertically to support the cusp standard means and reciprocally moving the cusp standard means constant and vertically by a predetermined pitch and the handles mounted on the upper and lower parts of the housing on one side thereof in a revolvable manner.
