Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bracket for a handrail in which the handrail can be installed along an external peripheral edge of a ceiling plate of a table and a counter, an interval between the handrail and the external peripheral edge of the ceiling plate is adjustable, and the handrail can be accommodated at a rear side of the ceiling plate in non-use.SOLUTION: A bracket 1A for a handrail which installs the handrail 6 arranged along an external peripheral edge 51 of a ceiling plate 5 is formed of a fixed part 2 fixed to a rear surface 52 of the ceiling plate 5, a support part 3 for fixing the handrail 6, and an arm part 4 for connecting the fixed part 2 and the support part 3. The arm part 4 has a hollow cross section which is formed of a pair of opposing sidewalls 41, 42 and an upper wall 43 for connecting the sidewalls, and is opened at a bottom face, and a pair of sidewalls 41, 42 forming the arm part 4 are extended from a lower face 22 of the fixed part 2 up to a lower face 32 of the support part 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
