PURPOSE: To obtain a braided yarn of composite structure, which prevents its tendencies to amenability to secondary twisting effect and also to separation of the pry at the yarn end by arranging the yarn in the machine's longitudinal direction.

CONSTITUTION: This pry 1-twisted warp yarn 18 (including cores 22, 24 or 26, and coating 28) is braided for a monofilament 20 (diameter: normally 0.03 to 0.12 inches) for braiding, and arranged in the machine's longitudinal direction, to form OMS loops. This arrangement improves its pin-seamed loop strength, and elasticity and tensile strength in the longitudinal direction, and also balances the internal stresses to prevent the secondary twisting effect.
