Abstract:
To provide a brake carrier which can secure a clamp area, and a disc brake.SOLUTION: A brake carrier includes: a first fixing part 42 and a second fixing part 44 which are arranged while opposing a face 11a of a disc 11; and a main beam 45 which is arranged while opposing a first friction pad 26, and connects the first fixing part 42 and the second fixing part 44, being the main beam 45 having a first face 201 opposing the face 11a, a second face 202 located at a side opposite to the first face 201, a third face 203 which is arranged while continuing to the first face 201 and the second face 202, and located at a side opposite to a region straddling the peripheral side of the disc 11 of the brake carrier 20, and first parting lines 221, 222 which are arranged at the second face 202 side at least at either of a face part 211 including the first fixing part 42 and a face part 212 including the second fixing part 44 out of the third face 203.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
