Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brake control device for a bar handle vehicle that can further improve stability of the bar handle vehicle.SOLUTION: A brake control device 10 for a bar handle vehicle performs fluid pressure control so that brake fluid pressure of a bar handle vehicle 12 is reduced, boosted or held. The control device 10 comprises: bank angle acquiring means 76; target deceleration setting means 80 that sets pressure-reduction target deceleration for turning according to a bank angle; wheel deceleration calculating means 74; and an ECU 44 that starts the fluid pressure control when deceleration reaches the pressure-reduction target deceleration for turning. The target deceleration setting means 80 performs correction for making the pressure-reduction target deceleration Ag for turning smaller in a non-operation state of the fluid pressure control than in an operation state of the fluid pressure control.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
