Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stable torque under a rotation of an input side rotating member.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a brake device 3 in which there are provided an outer ring 10 having an inner peripheral surface 11; brake shoes 20; an output side rotating member 30; and an input side rotating member 40 and a rotating force inputted to the output side rotating member 30 in regard to at least one rotating direction does not rotate the input side rotating member 40. The brake device 3 comprises several space holding parts 95 arranged between each of the brake shoes 20 in a peripheral direction to hold a space of the brake shoes 20 in their rotating direction; and a first ring part 91 for connecting several space holding parts 95 to hold integrally the space holding parts 95 in a rotatable manner. There is provided a space holding member (a friction member 90) acting as a member different from the input side rotating member 40.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
