Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress slide when abnormality occurs on a power converter of a railway vehicle.SOLUTION: An instruction acquisition part 11 acquires a brake instruction including deceleration, and a variable load detector 12 detects a load of a vehicle. A required brake force calculation part 13 calculates required brake force from the load of the vehicle and the deceleration. An abnormality detection part 15 detects abnormality of a power converter 22 for driving an electric motor 23. A mechanical brake force calculation part 14 calculates mechanical brake force according to the required brake force and electric brake force generated by the electric motor 23, and sends a mechanical brake force instruction value indicating mechanical brake force to the mechanical brake 24. The mechanical brake force calculation part 14 increases mechanical brake force of a vehicle different from a vehicle on which the power converter 22, in which abnormality is detected, is mounted according to the electric brake force which decreases due to abnormality of the power converter 22, when detecting abnormality on the abnormality detection part 15, and sends the mechanical brake force instruction value indicating the increased mechanical brake force to the mechanical brake 24.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
