Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brake control device of a rotary shaft which reliably puts a brake on the rotary shaft and has a simple structure.SOLUTION: A brake control device (10) includes: a ring shaped permanent magnet (70) which is fixed to a rotary shaft (110) and rotates with the rotary shaft (110); a ring shaped hysteresis material (20) which is fixed so as to face the permanent magnet (70) from one side in an axial direction of the rotary shaft (110); a ring shaped yoke material (30) which is fixed so as to face the permanent magnet (70) from the other side; and a cylindrical body (50) which connects an outer peripheral edge part of the hysteresis material (20) with an outer peripheral edge part of the yoke material (30) and stores the permanent magnet (70). The structure allows both of hysteresis torque and friction torque to put a brake on rotations of the rotary shaft (110) and thus enables the brake control device (10) to reliably put the brake on the rotary shaft (110).
