Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To securely prevent fluctuation of master cylinder pressure in changing into the master cylinder pressure at the time of abnormality of an external brake pressure generating means or a pressure control valve in controlling brake pressure by pressure reduction control by the pressure control valve to pressure generated by the external brake pressure generating means.
SOLUTION: A master cylinder 1 is connected to wheel cylinders 5FL-5RR through first solenoid selector valves 3FL-3RR, accumulated pressure of an accumulator 9 connected to the discharge side of a hydraulic pump 8 is pressure reduction-controlled based on a pressure command value by pressure control valves 11FL-11RR to be supplied to the wheel cylinders 5FL-5RR, and master cylinder pressure is supplied to a stroke simulator 13. When abnormality is generated at an external brake pressure generating means including a hydraulic pump, the pressure command value of each pressure control valve 11FL-11RR is controlled to the master cylinder pressure, a necessary sufficient set time when output pressure of the pressure control valve 11FL-11RR reaches the master cylinder pressure is calculated, and the first solenoid selector valves 3FL-3RR are set in opened conditions after the lapse of this set time.
