To provide a brake device for a vehicle which simplifies the structure, reduces the manufacturing cost, and enables high-precision braking force control by ensuring an appropriate braking force.
A first hydraulic pressure supply piping 38 from an accumulator 37 is connected to a first supply port 39 (second pressure chamber R2) of a cylinder 11, and connected to a second hydraulic pressure discharging piping 63 of an ABS 59 through a third hydraulic pressure supply piping 80 having a third linear valve 81. When a braking hydraulic pressure Pf is depressurized in the ABS 59, a predetermined oil amount is returned to the second hydraulic pressure discharging piping 63 from the first hydraulic pressure supply piping 38 through the third hydraulic pressure supply piping 80 by setting an opening and an opening time of the third linear valve 81 according to a discharge oil amount discharged to a reservoir tank 35 from the second hydraulic pressure discharging piping 63 through pressure reducing valves 78, 79.
