Abstract:
PURPOSE: To embody the lightweight structure and increase the durability of a disk more than that of a pad.
CONSTITUTION: A brake device consists of a disk 1 and a pad 2, and the disk 1 consists of an annular disk body 1a made of a carbon long-fiber material, and an annular sliding part 1b made of a carbon short-fiber material. The pad 2 is provided with a friction member 2a of rectangular parallelopiped shape consisting of the carbon long-fiber material and the durability of the disk 1 is increased more than that of the pad 2.
