Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brake device which eliminates the need for increasing the capacity of a motor, can suppress interference with a brake operation by a driver, and can generate brake force based on automatic pressurization with high responsiveness to a control request.SOLUTION: A precharge operation is performed by driving a control unit 50 when a collision prediction time of a vehicle is equal to a first threshold value or lower, that is, when the possibility of collision is relatively low. Brake force can be generated with high responsiveness by driving a pressurization unit 60 when the collision prediction time of the vehicle is equal to a second threshold value or lower, that is, when the possibility of collision is relatively high.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
