Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To operate a brake with a light force by discharging liquid by means of a pump connected to a rotary shaft in a wheel, arranging a valve in the middle of a liquid circulation circuit, through which the discharged liquid is circulated to an intake port of the pump again, and controlling a flow rate of the liquid passing through the valve. SOLUTION: When a valve 2 is opened, liquid discharged from a pump 1 is circulated, so that a wheel can be turned in the normal or reverse direction. For applying a braking force when the wheel is turned in the normal direction, a braking force is applied to the rotation of the pump 1. Then, an internal pressure of a pipe 3 is increased when a lever 5 for the valve 2 is operated so as to close the valve 2. This pressure works as reaction force to a rotor in the pump 1, so that the pump 1 is stopped rotating, and as a result, the rotation of the wheel connected to the pump 1 is stopped. Similarly, when the pump 1 is rotated reversely, an internal pressure of a pipe 4 is increased and the rotation of the wheel is stopped. That is, a braking quantity of a brake can be controlled when an opening quantity of the valve 2 is controlled by means of the lever 5.
